Data transfer through BT isn't as fast as a USB cable, and there is additional lag and packet loss. Something requiring real-time data like S300 probably wouldn't behave as well as it should unless the software was written with those conditions in mind.

USB is good enough for me.. can you imagine if the s300 system was still running off that OLD serial cable technology like the previous systems??

If it was, we'd probably be begging for USB, now that we have USB, we all want Bluetooth.. ITs a never ending cycle

Someone needs to come up w/ a new EMS that can auto tune RT perfect AFR's for part throttle and WOT. all you do is set the parameters that you want to reach and drive the car, ie HP, MPG, AFR's and even Time slip goals.. The EMS does the rest.. This eliminates the tuner and dyno tuning.. Now that would be the Shitt...

Currently it wouldn't work by just inserting a wifi adapter as the drivers aren't loaded into the kernal...

If they released an update for it...perhaps..

But you know how Hondata is....

USB is great.. but sometimes i wish they had some kind of propriety screw-on method of coupling.. USB was never a rugged design like the RS232.. after a year of pluggin and unpluggin, the female USB port usually gets rather loose

Neptune BT works flawlessly. Hondata S300 does not support BT

Is there such a thing as a 90 degree usb connector? When I mounted my ECU to the car it was difficult to leave the USB cable on the ECU since the USB cable was sticking out so much.

I modified the ecu brackets a bit to fit but it would be easier if I can get a 90 degree usb connector. Just couldn't see myself leaving the ECU on the floor on the passenger side or have to take the ecu out every time I want to connect it to my computer.

Neptune's bluetooth module came out at the same time as the RTP boards. I've had a working BT module for mine since March of last year.
