Default dc header to stock cat/exhaust...

i dont have alot of money coming in and ive been buyin part by part for my car ... all i have is short shift, intake and well i just put a DC sport 4-1 header .i was planning on getting exhaust a lil later but it looks like it will have to be soon......is there any way i can get the stock cat to bolt up to the headers cause right now the after market headers is about 4 inches to long for the exhuast ( )and im only running form cat and i know that isnt good and its so nasty loud that i hate it ...so is the only solution an exhuast soon or just put the stock manifold back on an buy everything at one time( the smart way)

Did you buy the correct header for your car? If it's 4" too long like you said it is, you will need to either buy a cat that will fit or bring your car to a muffler shop, like Midas and they will help you out.

Right now, I would put the stock header back on.

i had a dc 4-1 in my 97 LS...and it was too long for the stock exhaust

i later purchased a apexi n1 also...and it seem to fit fine..

i matched up a dc 4-1 with a 421 that i had..and the 4-1 was longer by a couple inches

depending on the year of the gsr certain years of the 3rd gen gsr have longer headers and other years are the same as other 3rd gen integras.....

what year is that gsr?

the header length on the 94-99 gsr is different then all other 94-01 integras im pretty sure that is longer but it may be shorter either way the header will work as long as you buy an exhuast for the year and model that the header is made for might need a cat to match to not sure about that though
