looking to buy a set of cam gears soon when i pick up a vtec head for my ls block. just wanted to know if all b-series cam gears are the same? So if i pickup a set of adjustable for whic ever head i will get being a b16 or gsr, i will have no issuess. And in the present being able to use them on the ls motor
hey when you guys say that they are all the same does that mean that all the lifts are the same, or would a gsr intake lobe lift hight for long then a ls, i ask cause im have a 99 ls auto and i am going to freshen up my block cause i recently hit the 90k miles and was thinking about changing the cams and cam gears and wanted a little bit more power so will gsr cams or itr cams be better than my ls ones.
Vtec cams won't fit in a non-vtec head. The OP is talking about cam gears, not cams. And 90k is still low miles for a Honda, you don't need to be 'freshening up' the block unless you're building it up for performance.
