Default b-series oil pump question..i need some info. thanks.....

i was just wondering the other day about oil pumps... i have gsr motor in my crx with a b16 tranny with short gear ratios.. and gsr tranny's have longer gear ratios so i was wonderig if it would be better to change my gsr oil pump to a b16 oil pump. because b16 tranny's rev faster so i was wondering if is nassary to change my oil pump so it keeps up with my tranny... or is there no such thing as keeping up with the tranny.......please let me know thanks.....
