hey so my buddy gave me his oil pressure and water temperature gauges. there called sun pro. the oil pressure gauge is mechanical. can anyone help me out with hooking it up. i heard you have to use a t joint on the oil pressure sender or can you just hook it straight up to the block. also do i just put the water temperature gauge in place of the sensore on the thermostat housing?
The first problem most people run into with the oil pressure gauge, is the threads of the fitting. The Honda block hole/ oil pressure unit is 1/8" BSPT threads.
Then you can check the thread size for the Temp to see if it will work.
I would think that the Sunpro people might have the adapters?

oil pressure is T'd in with the stock oil pressure sending unit. hondadude is right, the block is 1/8" BSPT thread. While a 1/8" NPT male will thread in, it is not good to do. Get a BSPT --> NPT adapter for the T off the block.
the water temp gauge should include a connector which you put into your top radiator hose. do not replace the stock sending unit.

and make doube sure it's not a tapered fitting or it could split the port=expensive repair
