ECU Question
ok so i just read a post on here about somone having a b16 ecu on their b18c5 and they were shorting them self of power.. now my question is i have a b18c gsr, and i have a civic type r ecu.. so could i also be shorting my self ? thank you for any help you can give

yea, get a stock gsr ecu, or get a chipped ecu from phearable.net or kenji211.com for your exact setup.

Vtec is engaging too late for your b18c1 using the ctr ecu.
Other then that the fuel maps are different due to displacement/cam differences etc.

besides the fuel being shorted.. if i have a vafc2, which i do, and i can adjust my vtec rpm is teh whole vtec still engaging late ? i will be purchasing a gsr ecu now too.. thanks
