how to remove bars from underside of trunk door?

how to remove bars from underside of trunk door?

Ok, so I'm installing my infinity kappa 3-way 6x9s and I ran into a problem, the bars that push the trunk open are in the way of the passenger side speaker... how do I remove these bars, they dont budge!

what year is this on? If its a 6th gen, you should have no problem with getting 6x9s in there. Anyway, you need a special trunk spring removal tool to remove them. I just bought one because I need it to install my spoiler. They're like $5. I got mine at http://www.handa-accessories.com/civext00.html
