Possibly tail lights. possibly the drain tubes from the sunroof. They get clogged sometimes. I would say pull out all of the trunk lining and get out a house.

i was thinking the sunroof cause my 240sx did that but there would be ater in the front of the car from hitting the brakes....i just now got the lining off and the tail lights have some water kinda inside that housing. im going to take the tails off and put some sealant around them.

This problem is common with 97-01 owners and a few threads are available on here with solutions, discussions etc. Use the search feature in the upper right hand corner and search "archived content"

not a few, COUNTLESS. i wish there was some way to force noobs to use the search button. maybe we should change it to size 1000 font and cover up the whole page.. maybe they'll use it then.

Can't the system be set, so it won't allow new members to post a thread until they have done a search, with the same procedure set for the first 14 days or 14 posts whatever comes first ? It would cut down the same old Q's being asked repeatedly because it's easier posting than searching.

the reason im being an *** is because this water leak issue has been covered numerous times. just run an archived search. you'll even find my thread on this. i have no problems if you've already searched this and done what ppl have suggested but i seriously don't think you have. until then, i'll bitch on till you do. it's called tough love.

yeah this happens to me as well, it used to be alot worse. but i gutted out my trunk and noticed the sunroof drains werent in the drain holes, so i put them back and duct taped them cause they wouldnt stay. but there seems to be allittle water still in my trunk after it rains and as i drive it goes back there from the right side only. theres alittle stream were i can tell where i came from but i dont know where it could be coming from still? i also sprayed the whole trunk with rubberized undercoat, to dress it up alittle.
