Default when i buy my bearings he said..

hii.

i bought my ACL mian bearings and rod bearings for my b20 from raceeng.com

the guy send to me email and say:
''
Thank you for your order. You did not request a thrust bearing which does
not come with any main bearing set. We can add a King thrust washer for
only $8.00. We always use this brand of thrust because it allows good crank
end play. Kindly advise as soon as possible.

Regards,

Bob
''

so what i should do?

I think he meant OEM thrust bearing, not the main/rod bearings.

If they recommend the aftermarket thrust bearing, go for it. Otherwise go with OEM for peace of mind.

I never had any problems with OEM thrust bearing at high HP. King is a good bearing and should do the job.

Do OEM bearings fail at that kind of power level?

nope. we use OEM bearings in all our block builds. We build a setup for a customer that made 920hp on his setup with OEM bearings.
