Brake Question
searched the archive but couldnt quite find what i was looking for..
94-97....just got the car used so unsure of maintence done by previous owner (probably little or none) and i have to nearly press to the floor to get response from my brakes. Any known issues that happen over time that I could fix with replacing parts or is a MC bleed necessary to see if its bad. Thanks in advance.

I would start with basic troubleshooting.
Is the fluid low?
Are there any leaks if the fluid is low?
Does the car have ABS? If so check the ABS unit for leaks.
Jack up the car to see if each brake is working.
You could try to bleed the system, but if there is air in it something has happened for the air to get in there.
If the brakes are bled and the calipers and wheel cylinders are working then most likely you have a bad master cylinder.
