This forum is full of awesome people (Props to Ed [zygspeed])
I just wanted to quickly say that there are a lot of great people on this board..
I've been on here for a few years and have meet tons of folks. Every now and then you keep crossing paths with a select few that go above and beyond the call of duty. Ed is one of them.
I first met "Crazy Ed" at Expo I [he drove from VA to CA on R compounds BTW], first at the Canyon Run thru Mulholland drive (passing many times on the left on a two lane road
), then at Button Willow later that week. He bought some parts from me at the track (turbo kit), paid cash without even seeing them.... I later shipped them once I returned from CA. Such trust in man-kind (rare to find now days)
Over the years I've seen him at multiple events, even had lunch at the "Crystal City Deli" LOL!!
Anyway, I was in search of a few ITR parts last week, Ed looked me up and shipped the parts without asking/accepting/taking payment.
I just wanted to say "Thanks Ed"

Jack, I would have to say the same for you.
You are one hell of a tuner, knows your stuff about everything and a great person to deal with! That is why I am more than willing to drive 5+ hours each way to get you to tune the car! On that note I will see you on Sat. morning.
Ed - I have only meet once when I met up with Jon (who is also a great guy) to get parts and Ed seemed like a great guy.

Ed's one of the people that keeps me around this shithole
Jack's one of the other ones. Definitely good people. If you ever feel like working on an old Volvo, let me know. Got plans for the Silver Bullet, if I can convince Mrs. Splat that I need to keep it

I was talkgin to Ed about my low budget ITR restoration. He was putting new coilovers on the ITR I sold him and sent me the Omni Power coilovers that he took off of the car for free. He didn't even charge me shipping! I owe Ed big time! Ed =

There's something about the ITR Forum that is so strange. We all develop a very strong bond regardless even if we own an ITR anymore or not. Till this day, some of my very close personal friends I have are all met through the ITR forum or cars in some particular way. Jack, you are a very trusting person. I wouldn't hesitate to send you an entire engine assembly on your word alone, same goes for Ed or alot of the OGs on here. I have that much faith in everyone that's why I still hang out on here even though I don't own anything closely related to an ITR.

Very well said. I'm sure I won't always have an R either, but I can't imagine not having lunch with Batoutahell & hanging out with others here on a frequent basis - Travis, Kevin, John (finally bought an R
), Wes, the Expo committe crew (talk about the inmates running the asylum??), CRAZY Ed, etc, etc, and so on.

No Ryan. You're not in our club.

Yeah Ed's a standup guy. I bought a new '97 front lip from him last year after cracking mine and he drove it down from VA to Raleigh to deliver it to me at my work. I volunteered to pay for shipping but he said don't worry about it and threw in two '97 ITR specific bras for free.
Ed = good guy.
From a bottle of Merlot at 'The Gap' to driving directions on the way home from the last Thanksgiving 'meat'.
Here is a nice little keeper from a visit to my house.

I forgot to sign-off earlier today, and it was a pleasure to find this when I got back.

LOL! And these last few days I thought Jack wasn't going to be talking to me because I keep changing my mind about what to do this ITR!
