my buddy has a b16 with brian crower stage 2s, brian crower DUAL SPRING RETAINER, gasket mached ported head skunk manifold 68mm throttle body,type r header,82mm type r pistons knife edge crank.

when driving the car it feels sluggish until 6k then pulls good til redline. the vtec is set at 5600. any suggesitons on cam timing or any other reason it would do that. Thanks..

are you runnin on a basemap? you might have to get the car tune, if your friend car doesnt have smooth rpm band it will be sluggist, that my opinion

 

thanks for ur opinion ill have to talk to him. im not to sure if it has been tuned.

 

its a b16....no if ands or buts about it...
