Default Code 9 CYP sensor

I have been working on getting rid of this code for over a year lol. I had an 88 dx hatch which i swapped a obdo b16 and converted it to obd1. Right when i start the car the cel comes on. I've swapped many good distributers, conversion harnesses, ecus, and the code is still there. I also wired the distrubuter directly to the ecu and still it would throw the code. Also tryed swapping the cyp wires, everything is wired as it is suppose to be. Ive ohmed all the sensors in the distributer and they are all in spec as expected and there are no shorts in the wires. ................ threw away the 88dx got a crx hf put the same setup in hf and still throws a code 9 when first started up. Not that it makes a difference but the motor is built with stock sleeves with a turbo setup. I've gone over wireing so many times that i thought it was something mechanically wrong so i swapped cams and cam gears back to factory and still the same outcome. Grounds good and everthing is wired correctly, the timeing is correct, everthing is the way it is suppose to be. I need to get rid of this problem so i can get my car tuned.

Any constructive input and people with the same on going problem is welcome.

Input concerning changing out distributers, or shorts in wiring or correct wiring are not needed.

Thanks,
-Pete

Are there any 12 volt power lines next to your conversion harness? When my starter feed line slides over to my harness extension interference became a big issue up until the point where I had to salvage a section of shielded wiring from a spare engine harness and integrate my added wiring into that.

I havent tryed shielding the wires on the distributer conversion harness if that is what you mean, but it seems logical since they are shielded in the factory harness. I have shielded wires i can pull off another harness. Thanks for the input
