i know it is possible to swap a US spec crv 2001 model to a rhd. The problem i'm running into is most people don't import parts for this certain honda from japan.
my mom is a mail lady, she loves her crv and looking to change it to rhd for her postal job, just wondering if any one has ever ran across or thought about doing this.
Also what site should i go to for parts? i have helped a few friends with changing their civics to rhd; it seems like it would be the same for the crv. I'm looking to swap the firewall and reinstall everything, without clipping the front end! But the dash and steering parts seem to be hard to find. I have gotten parts for import auto salvage in marion n.c. but not much luck with this project.. thanks for all your help and info in advance...

 

You are probably the first that is going to do this.
I wouldn't recommend doing it unless you are highly skilled in fabrication and welding.

 

i am aware of the stuff involved in doing the change over. just need to fine a good deal on a 97-01 jdm front crv clip with out motor. I figure if all goes wheel she can take mail all week and hit up the shows with a true jdm crv..lol

 

i would assume that it would be just like converting a civic or teg to rhd its almost the same car, but ive never seen it done you would get with a bigger importer and make a special request for it you would need the dash fire wall andbrake and clutch if app. and hard lines or new ones made it shouldbe extremely hard to do any body shop should be able to do but some might not want to
