I may be leaving the world of Accord performance...
...and entering the world of Mitsubishi performance. Before you guys speculate, I am not getting a 3000GT or an Eclipse. In fact, I am not getting any Mitsu sold in the US. The thing is I was at a gas station when I saw the car across from me and I noticed, that shouldn't be here! I talked to him about it and he told me that it is GDM car imported through a company in NY. He lives in Britain half of the year and NC the other. He told me he had to sell it because he will be living in Britain permanently now that he got a promotion. I asked him about the price. $15k. Yes, $15K. For some reason, the regulation which allowed him to get it also forced him to not be able to sell it above a certain price, go figure. I talked to him for a while, when I asked if I could test drive it. I got a short drive last night, and tomorrow I will be given a much more full test. I love Hondas, but I also think this car is too much of a deal to pass up. If I can sell my car in enough time, I will have one of the best performance cars ever made!
It's an Evo VI. I can get it resgistered easily because it was imported legally and passed the regulations required. The car is Hamilton Silver, before you guys go onto GT3 I know that is not the Evo's normal silver. However it is the German market's color for some reason. The registration is not too dificult though. Seems as though the loopholes in the NHTSA are bigger than I thought, so this car is not going to be a problem.

Good luck with NHTSA. Of course NHTSA isn't giving you your license plates. They do, however, do a good job of investigating plane crashes.
Misa, you read my mind. I talked to a distributor and he can get me an intake, exhaust, turbo, and a cam pretty cheap as well as a set of coilovers. I may have to change to an HKS avatar.

I think you mean NTSB.
If I get there early enough tomorrow, I'll take some pics. If not, I will try again later. On another note, anybody want a CD7 Accord (94 EX Coupe) w/5spd for 8500 with 87k mi. The car is pristine, and any of the parts can be switched out with stock if you want.

Well it is an EX with leather and in better quality than any other I have seen. Plus, Accords retain their value very well in my area.
well the cool thing is its a 4g63 and a majority of the parts can be found here, and the dsm guys at extreme would be great help, but IMO get some mount inserts or solid mounts as the trans is the firstthing to go, and i think they have poOpy stock mounts like we do
good luck man im super happy for you post some pics and let us know what happens

A friend of mine gave me the email of a guy at Ralliart who can tell me what I need to do to strengthen the car. I remember that Bozz Speed has an Evo that had problems with the tranny going. Luckily, I found a TME front end to put on the car to replace the less than ideal front that comes stock, but I may be jumping the gun. I am also trying to get a hold of some people who race Lancers, hopefully Rhys Millen, so they can give me more advice.
What Year is the Evo?? Dood you have to get us some pics. But Tell us more about the evo...I haven't done much reading on the cars cuz it is rare for us americans to own a car like that here. So I didn't read much on it cuz I wasn't going to get to own one in my lifetime
anyways...Good luck with getting it and everything hope insurance don't kill you on it

It is a 2000 Evo VI
"280"hp Turbo 2.0L 16v DOHC 4cyl engine, 5spd manual tranny
AWD, 4 doors (better than you'd think), Yaw Control, Adjustable Center Diff, 17in wheels over Brembo brakes
I fell in love with the car shortly after I began reading EVO magazine (in case you haven't seen it, it comes from Britain). I really want an EVO VII, but I'll take what I can get.
But it still moves like a scalded cat
