PY ITR
i just picked up a used PY ITR. its pretty much stock. just came with cai and 4-1 dc header. the previous owner didnt know the production #. anyone know how i could get it?

since apparently no one answered your question about the production number, check your vin.
The last four digits of the vin number indicate the production number of the car. So if it reads jh4dc2xxxx0127 then your car would be #127.

since when?? i just checked my vin and my last 3 digits are completely diff than my production #

This is so misleading it's not even funny...
At the end of the VIN is the serial # which in the USDM ITR case only tells you the production number amongst 2 door, manual tranny Integras. The badge number cannot be figured out from the VIN. There are correlations, higher the serial #, higher the badge #, but that's not always the case. I've noticed that it's easier to correlate the 97-98s than 00-01s. The only sure way to know the badge # is by a previous owner who knew it.
EDIT: Also, the badge # is just a neat limited edition marketing gimmick by Honda for the ITR. Meaning, if you happen to have badge # 0001; it doesn't mean yours was the first to roll off the assembly line that year. It probably was one of the first though.
