sup everyone, ive got a 2.5 inch exhaust from header back with no cat but a resonator into a rsx s stock muffler. should i remove the resonator? if i do will i get a lil more power and will my exhaust be louder?

 

No, you'll get no extra power, the resonator is straight through and yes it will be louder.

 

so the resonator is just to quiet the exhaust? lso will it be louder or will it get a deeper throaty tone?

 

I dont know what it will sound like w/ the OEM muffler, but it will get loud and raspy for the most part.

 

I have a friend here with an integra ls, 2.5 crush bent piping straight to an s2k stock exhaust, it sounds real nice and clean, not raspy nor loud whatso ever. So im assuming no it wouldn't be loud since in reality it still is a stock exhaust. Go for it! If you dont like it than just weld in a magnaflow resonator back in.

 

kool, thanks alot i think my resonator has a few pin holes anyway so it still needs to be changed. i hope i like it...
