i have 25k to spend and am looking to buy a s2k. i was wondering if i get a soft top s2k can i just buy a hardtop for it or do i have to do a conversion type of thing?

 

you can find a used one for around $2000, new for $3000. Simple instal of side catchers, rear defrost unit, and you can put it on without doing conversion. just put softop down, and hardtop on.

would the defrost unit and things come with the hardtop?

 

depends who u get it from... i believe the 03 or 04+ dont need the defrost harness.. correct me if im wrong someone..

I thought it was '02+ since they had glass windows on the '02+

 

03 went glass... unless im tripping...
