Default apexi v-tec controller.

will i benefit any from a stock 4cyl, maybe with CAI? (2006 coupe 5spd)

what should i set it to? is it safe? will it void any warranty's?

whats the best one, and for those that have it and use it. how awsome is it?

thank you

it's not worth the money. You will get very little gain from using it.
You have i-VTEC anyway so it works better than a controller to begin with

how so? i mean i know i-vtec means that vtec is constantly on. but it doesnt KICK like other accords without the ivtec. someone told me if i were to set the vtec to a lower rpm like 3800 or 4000. i'd feel a kick... i think its currently set to 4500 which i guess is the stock crap

thanks

so 4200 or 4300? im not exactly sure where the stock vtec hits. cuz i dont feel much more than a ROAR. i guess i'd need to know exactly where it is to make any adjustments.

if its at 4500 indeed then i wouldnt say 38 or 40 is too low. but then again im not that technical

a little bit of 'i V-tec' info for you. As with V-Tec there is no set RPM for activation

you have no idea how it works?

if vtec is a magic switch that you can gain 100whp anytime it's on, why the hell honda doesn't have it on at..um..let's say 1.5k rpm?

most of the power from a vafc is from the correction factor in A/f ratio, not vtec crossover point
