Default Expo and Car insurance....

I just called my Allstate broker and he says I am covered for the driving event. I will still reread my policy to make sure, but I just wanted to hear him say "It is ok.", so if anything happens I will keep him to his word.

His word doesn't mean anything you realize....
It's all about the written contract and the fine print. They can tell you anything, and do something entirely different when it comes to a claim.

I totally agree with you... that is why I am going to go home and reread my policy. But his word will hopefully mean something, here is why....

A fellow autocrosser recently wrapped his new MR-2 around a light-pole. The agent helped them write things up so that he basically got into an accident in a parking lot.

As much as I'd admit that virtually anything's possible.
I'd hope we all approach the Expo with just a "drive in the park" attitude.

Also, beware the last session of the day since that's usually when people get either careless and/or egotistical and have an "off" trying to go faster or keep someone behind them. and on, and on and on .... Ed

Yeah, that was kind of funny. At least nothing was bent.
I watched that whole series of about 7 laps from the control tower.
