What proper wheel size do i need?
Alright i got a 2000 Accord I4 coupe
I'm thinking of getting a set of 17's.
I wanna know if 17x7.5 4x114.3 40 offset would fit? or would it rub. i am planning on getting 215/45/17 and dropping my car 1.5F 1.25R
Thanks

Rubbing is a function of the tire size (how big is the tire) and wheel offset (where is the tire positioned in the wheel well).
On your car (which came with stock 195/65-15 size tires from the factory), the best 17" size is 205/50-17, not 215/45-17, which is too small in diameter. Stick with 205/50-17.
Most 205/50-17 tires are approved for wheels 5.5-7.5 inches wide. I wouldn't get 17x7.5, which will make the tires look too stretched. I would get 17x6.5, or maybe 17x7 max.
Someone else can advise you regarding the best offset for wheels on your car, based on their width.

17x7 is prefered but a 7 1/2 will work just fine.. offset is any where from a 35 to 45mm... any of those offset's will work on a 7 or 7 1/2 wide wheel
ok awesome, becuase they only have 17x7.5 and 45 offset wheels.
Thanks for the help guys!
