Del Sol Question, - Paint
maaaco can do a good job, but don't expect it to be any better than the factory paint(moderate orangepeel),Earl schieb is also decent, but I would severely reccomend against anything less than $500 paint job at either place, unless you can afford new paint within a year and/or like orange peel
depends on which package at which place you go with.
for earl schieb, "pro 3" or better
for maaco, the level 3 or better
some people have also had success with "1 day" paint places, others have had horrid result.
What I'd suggest is go to all the paint shops in your area and see their work in person, most places(earl schieb and maaco especially) will often have a "demo" car in which all the panels are the same color but each panel is a different level of paint so you can see and compare the results.

I had my car painted at maaco 3 years ago... My paint is chipping off on my front bumper and because they dont remove parts and they just cover stuff i have some overspray on my seals and my rear bumper is peeling towards the top.... I suggest taking it to a place and spending atleast 1500 because thats gonna have the place pulling off bumpers, seals, etc. You will have a much better quality job...
