What to set 2step launch at?
bolt on gsr swap in my civic. getting a chipped ecu and the options free so mines as well get some use out of it. so what should i set it at? going to be using drag radials for the street/strip btw too.
also is it worth messing with the vtec crossover with just having bolt ons?

I suggest going to the track *cough*somewhere you won't get in trouble*cough* and try launching from different rpm. Once you find one where your car doesn't bog too much or spin too much, set it there.

That's a bit higher on a GSR, but I'm not sure how much the radials will matter.
@ OP: It's really hard to tell - find somebody who's done it before (probably a lot of pple with stock GSR I/H/E).

No 2 cars are going to be the same. To determine the best 2 step involves alot more then just what motor you have. Most important is the tires your running, that tells you where you should set your 2 step.
Example: Boost and good size slicks youll want it high enough that you build the most boost you can, alot of people set it 2k lower then there max RPM.
Example2: 230whp NA with street tires would be low due to the quick rpms and power is everywhere.
No one could tell you where to have it set. Best thing to do is get a laptop and hit the track and see where you like it. Dont do it on the street because its worthless there. If you dont say anything theyll set it at 4 (which comes with stock basemaps on alot of programs)

Are you getting it from member mtber? His a good guy. In order to change it youll need a chip burner along with a laptop and crome software.

its gonna be different on the street than on the track. best bet is just get a msd with the 2 step option so you can change it around. you really dont ned a 2 step for stock gsr
