take a screw driver and bang out where theres a dent in the large axle nut then take that nut off 1 1/4" socket. then take off the lower ball joint nut and seperate useing the craftsman 1/2" drive ratchet trick. then pull the hub out and tap the axle end out of the hub. then take a large screw driver or pry bar and pry the other end of the axle out of the tranny.

Removing an axle is very easy. The thing is, it is very time consuming. I will try to find you a guide.

1) Car is on ground, wheel is on, remove the center cap that hides the axle nut.
2) Unstake the Axel nut with a screwdriver, or a strong pick.
3) While car is still on the ground hit the axle nut with an air gun (134 ft/lbs )
3a) If no air gun is available, have someone apply the brakes and possibly put the car in a high gear (passenger wheel put in 5th, driver's wheel put in reverse). Breaker bar + PB blaster and put some back into it.
4) Once axle nut is loose, remove lugnuts
5) Jack up car, place on jackstands
6) Remove wheel
7) Disconnect sway bar endlink from LCA
8) Disconnect Shock fork from LCA
9) Disconnect radius rod from LCA
10) Disconnect LCA from Rear Crossmember
10a) Notice how you didn't have to deal with that stupid ball joint, thank me later
11) Pull knuckle away from axle splines
12) Prybar between transmission case and axle, should pop right out.
