As the title states-
I just purchased a new e manage (blue) system. I also purchased the boomslang pnp harness so wiring shouldnt be a problem. The vehicle is a 92 dx with lsvtec.
The problem is that the vehicle does not start unless the ignition harness is disconnected from the emanage. Then check engine light code 15 (ignition output signal) shows up.

Why is this???? A friend of mine said it has to do with the resistor that came with the emanage was suppose to be installed. However I did not see any instuctions for where it should be installed in the installation manual.

check ur jumpers inside the unit, there is one jumper that specifically says for hondas, dont remember which one, and that wont let it start., check them all

 

Not that. I triple checked. Also that would not explain why it would start with out ignition harness plugged in and not start with ignition harness plugged in.

 

Sounds like it is wired wrong to me, or the jumpers are wrong like previously stated. There are also ***** on the side of the board inside of the box which you must set as well. If none of that works double check the ignition wiring. Its pretty simple, 4 in, 4 out, but could be wrong. Good luck.
