I believe centrifugal superchargers are just as good as turbo. With no lag. If you know how to build it either way a turbo or supercharger can give you the same amount of power.

I'll pass...make that same power with a properly selected turbo that's going to produce less heat doing it, ultimately leading to a safer working environment for my engine...Superchargers = Sauna for engine when youre trying to get output out of such a small displacement engine

They aren't...You'd think they were, but they still produce large levels of heat compared to a turbo...Lag is overrated, mostly when you hear that term get thrown around it's by people who havent built a turbocharged engine... Turbo's have every possible god damn advantage over an SC on a 4 banger it's not even funny...Their are what 3 different blowers for the b series?? When you want to upgrade for more power on a supercharged setup it isnt as easy as swapping for a different turbo. With so many variations of turbo chargers (hell you could ******* build your own if you wanted to) it's possible to choose a turbo that will suit your setup perfectly, with little to no lag and great top end, all the while blowing air much cooler than that supercharger will be...
