short shifter question?
Ive read alot lately about the 3rd gear slip put and other things related to that. i also have that problem. i was curious if any of you guys who have put on a short shifter onto your 06 si still have this problem. does the short shifter minimize the problem or even eliminate it at all... just thought that a short shifter might be the answer to the problem..
feedback please..??

I have a SS on my 07 and have had the 3rd gear grind (more than once) and pop out (only once). Ever since I got the SS on 3rd gear is easier to put into gear and doesn't grind as often. It does not eliminate the problem totally but it helps. Changing your MTF would probably help more than slapping on a SS. my .02 cents
