i recently bought a 91 civic hatchback and the rpm and the temperature gauge is not working... so i bought a new gauge cluster thinking it was the cluster and it is still the same... guy that sold it to me said that the previous owner had a tach on it... can someone help me??? i think they didn't wire the rpm back to it's original when they wired the tach. i'm kinda new to this so can someone tell me where is the rpm wires on my car??? do anyone have a diagram??

 

there is a cable, it plugs into the trans. check it out

That's the speedometer. it works, not the rpm....

 

blue wire with a yellow stripe i think, it comes off the dizzy.
