Default would you expect gain??

i just put on my rage header. but when i took it for a test drive i dont feel any gain at all. would i have to go get it tune to expect gain? the motor i got is a gsr. with jdm type r piston. ctr intake cam. sk2 manifold. custom 2.5 cat and chip p28

I would expect somewhere in the -10 to +10hp range. Maybe you should tune it and see what type of numbers youre putting down....

What's your exhaust setup?

Untuned, the rage header did little on the butt dyno except for a bit of midrange. Once I added on the full 2.5" exhaust however, that's when the butt dyno recorded a record high all over.

tuning man, just go have it tuned and you'll definately see gains... 2.5' collector i'm assuming too right?
