I have a 1993 Honda Del Sol S. I recently had the water pump replaced because it was maikng noise. Ihad it replaced along with the timing belt a year ago but the pump went out again because it was aftermarket. A few days after the work was done i noticed a slight screeching noise when starting the car and it was cold. A day or two after that the noise got worse and the engine pulses or chugs for about five seconds then the idles raises. As the car warms up the chugging goes away but i can still feel a little rumbling at idle until it is comletely warmed up. It feels as if the car is misfiring. It only does this when it is cold. Any ideas?

I had it checked out and a lifter is straining back and making the engine run rough.
