Default d16z6 street tune

I need someone to refer me to a page on how to street tune a d16z6, or a page that is going to allow me to know how to street tune my civic.

If you don't know how to street tune, then don't.

chris61988kb: Start here http://www.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/view/Home/WebHome

A book be Jeff Hartman "How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems" is a good start to get the basics down as well

stupid, tiny infant sized n00bs! I am gonna tune my **** by painting my valve cover a nice texture, and by increasing the bass +3 on my radio for a nice AFR.

If you wanna tune, you need to convert OBD0/1 and get a OBD1 Harness. You will also need a ECU to be chipped. You can get a pre-chipped ECU with a removable EEpRom. However you will need to data log.

You can get a base tune, which will be horrible for your car, but its a start. Then data log the crap outta it with a nokia data cable, and a **** free laptop.

You will also need a WBO2 setup like an LS-1, and an LCD readout screen to show you the AFR's across the RPM range. Now alot of these things only tune at WOT. Im just starting to read about this, and trust me, it will be another 3+ years untill your *** actually tunes something yourself. There is a ton of reading to do, were talking 4+ hours a day, for months.

Put it this way n00ber, id rather install 15 turbos Inside cars that i dont even know, then to tune my car. (and I build/fix computers for a living, all the way down to designing my own electronics....were dealing with a car here. You have to konw electronics VERY well. unless you have $$$$$$$ from pappa, then hondata s300 or something, but you still cant beat Chrome, turboedit, Uberdata and shoot like that.

If your NA, then there is not much to gain since the ob2a/b ECU's supply up to 25% more fuel per air
