Default No more OBD1 Tests in Illinois!!!

I am done!!! Now I can do all I want . After passing the emissions I got a nice slip that says EXEMPT. Once you pass an emission test on a car manufactured before 1996 you are done. Ha ha!! I just thought I share a good news!

Why did you have to get it tested in Wisconsin?

I do too and I've never heard of anyone having to get their car tested in WI.

There's like a seven county area around Milwaukee where you have to get tested.

too bad there's too many f*cked up cars driving around in California to have those kinds of emission standards.

there are more people in California than any other state. Therefore, our air quality is very important. Other states don't care or have enough people to have to worry about smog. Nice for those who don't worry about smog. But I live in the bay and wolgn't want to live anywhere else. Smog does suck though...

I think even in Cali they will make the OBD1 exempt, Illinois did it cause of Time and material needed to do emissions on OBD1 vs OBD2. Additionaly most of people do not have cars that are now 11 years old.

Yea MN rawks!

As long as it has lights rolls and stops, your G2G here!

Ive driven **** that scared me to even drive, i mean hgood held in place by zip ties, same with the bumper, no doors worked, and had no exhuast after the headers! Mazda protege, ran that bitch to the GROUND! Everytime befor I got in it, I would take my good ole hocky stick and SMACK SMACK it a few times for goodluck.

I invented "Racing Dents", helps with aerodynamics at 30 mph.

because it was register by the previous owner in milwaukee, my bro failed emissions twice, due to a leaking exhaust, leaking cam seals and bad head gasket. so he took the car up to madison and register it, in madison and some northern parts, theres no testing.

Cali used to have a rolling exemption that made all cars more than 25 years old exempt, but that stopped in 2000. All cars 1975 or newer have to pass smog... there's no way they're ever going to get anywhere close to exempting something as new as OBDI anytime soon.

I can live with the smog test, i just wish the sniffer was all that mattered - as long as you pass emmisions, you should pass smog. But cali's lame and anything emissions related has to be approved.
