Default Wheel question about Work Emotion XD9's

Not too long ago, someone posted a poll about which wheels they should get. It had Volks, Mugen GPs and the Work Emotion XD9's listed. Ever since seeing the XD9's, I've wanted them. I've been looking for a link to buy some and this is the best I could come up with

http://www.modacar.com/Merchan...b=All

Now my question is would the 17x7.5 42mm 4x100 rims fit? On the website it says they will, but I thought the SI had a 5x114.3 lug pattern.

I want the black powercoated ones, and they make them in 18x8.0, 5x114.3. I think those would fit, am I right? And, do you think they would fit with a modest drop, say about 1.5"?

Also, as I'm sure its been discussed a million times, any good tire recommendations? I remember seeing Type-X recommend some Nittos on another post, but any other good alternatives?

PS - Anyone know anything about how much these rims weigh? I'm assuming they are light since they are a racing wheel...

No they wont. You are right the Si has a 5x114 lug pattern.
i think you may run into rubbing issues depending on your suspension setup and tire, with an 18x8 wheel. It can be done though

I PM'd WeakSauce, HybridPerformance, and someone else as well. Tre, did you get a combo package that included tires or just buy the rims themselves? What tire size are you running, and what brand of tires?
