HOW MUCH PSI OR WHP CAN STOCK GSR INJECTORS HANDLE
Interested to know how much psi they can handle..I wanna bost only about 7-10 psi on a stock gsr but kinda cheap to install and purchase injectors..
You should upgrade your injectors but I willl tell you how much the stockers are capable of supporting so you wont need to ask ever again. lol
First you need to convert cc's/min into lbs/hr.
240cc / 10.5 = 22.8 lbs/hr
Now you multiply lbs/hr x your desired duty cycle the divide that by the BSFC. (Brake Specific Fuel Consumption) The BSFC is usually .60 for forced induction and .50 for NA combinations. We will do .50 just for the hell of it. Then multiply that by the total # of injectors.
So,
Injector size 22.8 x Duty Cycle 100% / .50 BSFC = 45hp per injector
45hp x 4 injectors = 180hp
Your answer is not enough fuel. If you get a 12:1 FMU you will be able to support more hp but lets face it, its 2007, not 1998, things have changed ALOT and your friends will make fun of you if your car has a big ugly blue FMU under your hood.
Get some injectors.

Why not?
You can get them cleaned, balanced, etc all that good stuff and it will work fine. I have the blue tops...Been running them for over 2 years on my original motor @ 158,xxx and counting. Stock head and bottom end, no internal work. 260WHP; my only car daily driven and abused.
For anyone who's on some budget and would like to save any way they can, USED injectors will work!
