Yes, its a built single cam that probably puts out damn near close or even more power to what a stock b16 makes.

I'm not going to argue with, but if know anything about honda's the power to be made is from the top end.

I find it funny because I know that ^guy is repin the D very hard. Reason being he got very defensive when I talked about the b16 and I see whats in his signature which is also proof. I'm also a member on dseries.org and everyone on their hates DOHC. Like I mentioned I'm not here to argue considering I'm playing both sides of the field. I have a b16 in my 88std and I'm building a z6 for my 94 cx. Maybe he will leave me alone, along with the rest.........
My built D is probably going to be faster then my B.

i never got defensive, just stated the blatantly obvious. 11s with a sohc CRX is a damn good accomplishment. especially when you were talking about your friend with a B16 hitting 12s with the same shot of n2o

i dont hate DOHC motors by any means. i think they are a great platform to start with if you are going for a high hp build. BUT, im on a budget and the sohc fit that budget. if i had the money to throw around, i would have swapped in a B series

Everyone has their thing...why have a D-series if you can have a B-series, why have a B-series if you can have a K-Series, why have a I4 when you can have a V6, why have a V6 if you can have a V8, why have a V8 if you can have a V10, why have a gasser motor when you can get a diesel and get 100hp from a chip.

Hear what I am saying, it is all personal preference. Why screw around with soup'd 4 cylinders when you can get that much power from a stock 8 cylinder.

That is the great thing about the human race we are all different and have different ideas. If we were all the same it would be boring. So everyone shut up and let everyone do what they want.

I have it saved and if you dont mind, would like your permission to use it in the future b vs. d threads when necesary. I will be sure to give you the credit for it. Mad props!

No, I don't play childish owning games, or whatever they call it on here.
