Allright this is my second thread about this item...
First off i got a 2000 honda civic si. I used to have a turbo setup on this, but decided to go back to non turbo. After I took of the kit, I installed an injen cold air system and a dc 4-1 header. Noe I have really bad Idling problems. When I start my car it idles at about 1500, but after warm its about 900. But when I rev or drive my car, when I press in the clutch to stop , idle drops down to almost 0. Almost stalling. Here is what I have done so far.
1. Cleaned out the iacv. - didnt work
2. Replaced the iacv - didnt work
3. Messed with the idle screw- didnt work
4. Tried bleeding coolant - helped a little, but still idles funny.
5. checked to see if it was my greddy emanage - not the problem
6. some one said vac leak - but vac leaks would raise my idle
I am running out of ideas. Please someone help.
any other ideas.
maybe tps, map sensor....?????????? someone told me fast idle thermo valve.
but i thought cars over 96 didn't have these.
Any ideas would help a lot

Try getting the tps callibrated, I had the same problem with my B16 the TPS was off. I got it calibrated and the problem went away.
honda fuel-injected idle systems are a bit more complicated than the easy to understand carbs with an idle screw and a mixture screw like on old pickup trucks. the computer learns the adjustment when you set it properly. if you don't set it properly then it will learn the wrong thing and won't idle right. i have a similar problem with my d16 because i haven't gotten around to adjusting mine yet after swaping the manifold. a lot of times if nothing has been messed with you can just turn the screw till it sounds close and it'll be fine, but only sometimes.
you would have to look it up to find the exact procedure cuz it's different for different engines, but you hook up a digital tach/timing light with a digital tach and warm up the car. then on some models you jump the service connector. after that you briefly unplug the iacv and set the base idle to the specified rpm. then you check rpm with it plugged in again. it should be set by then.
that's all i got, hope it helps.

sorry i did have one more thing, glance at the inside of your dist. cap and rotor. mine were pretty old and replacing them helped slightly.

had to adjust the throttle cable, but cable link gets stuck.. does that mean the deflection is to tight...
