Fuel Filter Mounted Pressure Guage
I have seen many people on these forums that have a fuel pressure guage mounted on their fuel filter. I want to also mount a pressure guage on my fuel filter. What guage can i use? Whant fittings do i need? Is there a kit that I can purchase that will have all needed parts included?
Thanks
Thanks
Mine is an AEM fuel rail with this: http://www.horsepowerfreaks.co...ducts bought from horsepowerfreaks.com. It already has the 1/8 NPT fitting on it and what not.

Doesn't seem like the same thing to me .. hmm
All you really need is the gauge I think, one that has the threaded part on the bottom,
and not on the back of the gauge, and a little teflon tape probably.
That's how mine is, and Was, so I'm not sure what the bolt that is originally in there is,
But it should just be a simple remove, and replace with the gauge.

My NPT fitting is on the back of the guage that way when it screws onto the AEM fuel rail you can look down from birds eye view and read it instead of having to bend down to read it accurately. It's the same thing, the AEM fuel rail has an open spot for a guage right next to the fuel pressure regulator.
Having an aftermarket fuel rail like AEM helps because it is usually comes with a dedicated fitting for a fuel pressure gauge.
If you are totally stock (stock rail, stock fuel filter) then the B&M (B&M Gauge Set) kit is a good, cheap alternative. I have used this on my DA with no trouble.

B&M makes the kit for the fuel filter which includes gauge and necessary fittings.
