b16a1 bottom end for cheap
so theres this b16a1 bottom end (crank, rods, + pistons as far as i know)for sale that i might want to get, the only problem is that there was some predetionation damage to some of the cylinders and the guy "says" the walls are maybe undamaged. he wants $50 for it, i was thinking that this would maybe be a good block for a rebuild, rather than buying a complete engine. would i save any money????

For $50 I'd buy it is the cylinder walls were fine.
If the walls are ok, you can just get a bore/hone along with some oversized pisonts and rods and you'd be set.
