Will a Honda Fit wheels "fit" on a 96-00 Civic coupe?
Hi, I tried to search but couldnt really find any answers I wanted. I was wondering if Honda Fit wheels would work on my 96 civic coupe.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
I found out the bolt patterns are the same but the offsets are different.
Has anyone used FIT wheels and if there was any kinda problems?

Thanks bro... I was planning on buying some Work Emotions off a FIT and wasn't sure if they would work with problems.
Anyone know if a 55 offset would cause problems?
Thanks again

i would test fit it... but if memory serves me correct they rub on the suspension.. because the offset is to high ( it stick in to far ). most hondas use a 35 to 45mm offset as standard.. your stock wheel is either a 40 or 45mm
55 offset is only going to cause problems if you are tucking the tire. aka 3" drop. The inside of your tire will rub the frame. Mine does
At any other ride height it will look fine. For a more "flush" look, I recommend spacers.

just because the 44 offset works on the FIT doesnt mean its all good to throw on the 55 offset on the civic. youre looking at it as it the same thing both ways.
think of it like this.... the smaller the offset number is...the more the wheel sticks out of the car. the larger the offset number is...the more the wheel goes inside the car.
that means...you can put 20 offset wheels on a a car because the outside of the car has endless space, but you cant put 200 offset wheels on a car because they will not go in so deep, they will touch the chassis.
therefore what youre saying is kinda false...hope that makes sence to you.
in all reality, the FIT wheels do fit on a civic, but they sit too far inside the wheel well, and not only does it look funny, but when you turn your wheel all the way to one side, your tires will rub the inside of your car. anything on a civic should have an offset between 38 and 45.
like the other guys said, you can rock wheel spacers, but you will need extended lugs to use atleast a 15mm spacer which will put your offset back to 40.
in my opinion, its not worth the hassle.
im telling you all this because i wanted the fit wheels real bad on my 98 hatch, and went through this crap. im rocking 03 ep3 Si wheels right now which look the same but satin instead of stainless. and they have a 45 offset. heres a pic...
