Default Suspension help, need opinion on springs for KYB G-2's

Ok I just bought these KYB GR-2 shocks and have 2 questions

1.And I obviously need some matching springs, but im wondering what kind of springs would go good with the setup? Ive never tried EBAY springs before, but then again I dont want to learn from that mistake should there be one.

2.I noticed though with springs for a crx, they say 89-91 only, but mine is an 88. but that doesnt seem to make sense because its the shocks that differ. Is it okay to get an 89-91 set of springs for an 88 or would it not fit somehow??

1. You wasted your money the GR-2 shocks. They are merely a stock replacement. But hey, you might like them. I would have gone with the KYB Agx and have more adjustability options.

As for springs, I have the Eibach Pro-kit and absolutely hate it. I would reccomend staying away from them. I love my Tein S-techs a lot. Not much a of a drop which is nice because with this spring, it's more function over fashion. Also they are around 150 bones on eBay.

2. I have no idea, I have a 90 hatch .

Hope this helps you somewhat.

Yeah a little, im prob going with the tein or H&R, have yet to hear someone diss the H&R.

But before I order I need it clarified weather I can use the '89-91' model spring.

Thanks for comment though.

88's have a different lca than 89-91...
Tein is usually a good quality spring. Stay away from sleeve style coil-overs...complete waste of time and money unless you want a rock hard bouncy ride. Go with a spring for best results, I have tokico RAK's and absolutely love them.

Ok I know that they have diff LCA's, but im wondering if there is a different in the spring, because alot of springs are seperated by the 88/89-91, well aftermarket at least.

But yeah right now it looks like im goin tien, but can someone tell me if the springs are diff or same for crx.
