going to check my compression
so i dont really think my 94gsr with i/h/e pulls like a normal gsr i got beside a stock gsr on the interstate and he pulled me hard also a b16 w/gsr cams pulled me like a bitch i think my compression may be low what do you guys think no codes or anything but do need mounts do you think this can affect it that much what can i do to fix the compression do i need new pistons and rods/rings or what any help would sure be thankful

Dont start rebuilding your motor because you got beat. Check your compression first and see whats up. Also do a leak down test if you can, that will also help. Post your results and get back with us.

Or maybe its the cheap mods and if you put your OEM parts back on you'd make more power.

I was thinking that, but figured at least get the compression and leak down results first before making any conclusions.

im in the same situation, my gsr has the normal bolt ons and its slow like hell so i did a compression test and i got 160 psi on eah cylinder and the manual says 270 psi on each so im changing my rings and pistons this week.

Remember that the compression gauge has a significant influence on the magnitude of the compression, where a larger dead space in the gage will yield a lower compression. Also, did you have the throttle at WOT and was the engine fully warm?
