Default Few issues with my car, Need opinion.

I own a 89 CRX Si with a B16 swap, OBD1. I have DC sports exhoust and headers, exedy clutch, fidanza flywheel, AEM V2 Intake, Rywire B16 kit, everything else that goes with B16 swap. Keep in mind that I got the swap done in August.

Problem #1.

The car idle is unstable. It idles at 800rpm when it's warmed up, however, it drops down and it goes up, but not more than 100rpm. This is enough to make the whole car shake and vibrate as it rises and drops. Ocasionally it does drop to 400 ish, and it might go up to 1000ish, but not more than a few seconds.

Problem #2

When stoped at light, or just parked, the car drops rpm, is kinda shakes then the "Check Engine" light comes on wish significantlly different idle. This ONLY happens after the engine is warmed up and when you stop to idle. It does not happen all the time however. After you shut the engine down, then restart it, it's normal again, and the light doesn't come on for a while. This started happening 3 months afer the swap.

Problem #3

The car shakes while accelerating, mostlly in 3rd gear at 3000 - 5000rpm range, and somewhat in 4th gear. I think it has something to do with axles, but I'm not sure. I've got new axles from Hmotors.com, I believe they are from integra, but I'm sure that they're meant for this swap.

Problem #4

I'm pretty sure that tranny is screwed up. From day one, I had problems with it. Sometimes it would be really hard to push it into first gear. The problem kept getting bigger and bigger. Right now when the car is cold / or still warming up, it's smooth like silk, but after a long drive, it's hard to go into first, and going from third into fourth sometimes grinds a little. I don't know if Problem #3 and #4 might be connected somehow?

Other than that, there aren't any other major problems with the engine. I'm hoping it's just a sensor or something.

I take great care of my car. I check oil every time i'm at the gas station, I change my own oil, I do all the tuneups, I check everything, but I'm not an expert.

Did you check the ecu to see what code is being thrown?

And are you sure your clutch cable is properly adjusted?

Let's start with those.

Thanks for suggestion ILcrxsi1. I will try those steps, also, I was thinking that the idle problem might be related to adjusting the idle?

First things I would do:
1. pull trouble codes
2. clean eacv and ficv
3. bleed coolant after step 2
4. adjust clutch cable
5. check motor mounts and get your tires balanced(for the 3rd gear vibration problem) if that doesn't work I would move on to axles maybe.

Is it a fast vibration in 3rd gear or more of a wobble?

Yeah, the vibration problem is fast, and only when accelerating in the described RPM range.

Only on acceleration?

If that's the case I would bet it's an inner cv joint.

i was talking more about the shaking part. When my ef started to shake at like 30 mph, i took it to a shop and they told me i needed an alignment. They fixed it and it never shook again.

but if im wrong im wrong. You've definitely know your stuff. So im not gonna argue cuz theres a chance im wrong.
