msd problem???

Default msd problem???

so today i connect my msd like the manual says with internal coil so i start the car and the car started up stalling because it was a little cold so i left it a 2k rpms so it can warm up fast so when it warmed up i let go of the gas and the car stalled and the check engine light came up and i stepped on the gas and it wouldnt pass 3k rpms what could that be

well msd's in general are the problem, what do you have modified that warrants it? In general msd's create more problems than they solve. The stock ignition is very strong and can support over 300hp

I like to only use MSD if I'm removing the OEM coil AND ignitor. I had problems with my OE ignition once I turbocharged my Civic.

Check and double check your wiring. It sounds like you made a simple mistake.
