hey everyone,

im doing work on my friends b16a hatch for him and i did a compression test because the head is sweating a bit

the results were
1= 160
2= 165
3= 165
4= 175

was wondering if these results were within spec or not.

any info would be great

from what i have read i think it is a lil low.. when i did mine i was 190-185-180-190
but i think a healthy b16 has over 200..hope this helps

 

Those numbers are low. I would do a leak down test.

Does it smoke?

 

as long as the numbers are all similar.... thats all that matters.

And if they all are like 55 your ***** done for

 

if they are all 55..... maybe the comp test was performed incorrectly.
