I just bought this car with front end damage.It took 600 and change to put it back together.The motor runs really strong.I did all the the tune up parts and timing to what everyone suggested.The car got a code for the O2 SENSOR.I just changed that out.Now the car feels like it shuts off at 5000rpm from a pull in every gear.It loses fuel or spark! I dont know where to start to check for problems.Need the tech help please.I have to go for smog on wed.

It cuts out than comes back on for a second than does it again.Only at 5K.In every gear

 

maybe thats when the vtec kicks yo. try checking the oil level. too much oil can cause the vyec not to work or even old/dirty oil
