Im going to turbo my civic at 6 psi its a d16y8 with stock internals does anyone know if thats fine cuz i want it for everyday driving and not to blow up in a couple of weeks? and another question does anyone know how much it is for a tune and if ill need a hondata or if they just tune my stock ecu?

With a tune you could run up to 12lbs safely, 6lbs is a nice start though, go for it.

Go with crome, good prog. and cheaper.

6 lbs is fine, even if you are doing just street tuning but a dyno tune is highly recommended. As the prev. poster stated you can actually run 12 lbs of boost safely with a good tune on STOCK internals. But personally I would never go above 10 lbs of boost on a stock motor. They will not be able to tune a COMPLETELY stock ECU. However, if you get Hondata, Chrome, Neptune ETC ETC they will be able to tune your ECU for you. Good luck on your boost project and have fun but be safe.
