i need help with my lude's idle!!!!!!!!!
yea i have a 93 prelude si and the problem i have is that sumtimes it idles high it goes from 1000 to like 2000 rpm back and forth and i dunno wats wrong i dunno im just getting sick of haring the engine reving up at each light hehehe....o sumtimes it does it in when i let go of the gas its weird i dunno wat it is maybe my pcv but im pretty sure its good...is their any way to check it

take you intake tube off and while the car is running cover up the the bottome hole in the throttle body and see if it stops.

i duno how to check the pcv but i can tell you a couple of things that cause idle surges. i would check all the vacum lines first to make sure you have no cracks in them. the slighlest leakage will do it. then i would blleed your coolant. the bleeder valve is on the bottom of the radiator. i had the same problem and it turned out that i had air somewhere in my line so i just bleeded the coolant and that took care of it. try that out. or you can adjust the idle on the throttle body.
