Default Weld in a block gaurd a good idea?

Im not sure if this is section but i think it would be because its a boost app. Ive used a block gauges in my b20 with out any problems (NA). I was wondering about the h22, if it will have problems. Ive people welding these in for more protection. anyone heard or done this. good idea bad idea Can someone give me some info on this. also I think i used a z10 bloack gaurd last. i dont rememeber. any other recommandation on brand.
