Ok, a while back I bent the valves in my ITR and took it to a little shop in town to get it fixed (cheap). Now Topspeed just called me to tell me that I need to valve guides because I have b16 valve guides in there and the head on my car is A B16 HEAD!!!!!.....the guy who did this has a lot of connections with stolen property and stealing cars etc.... so I don't wanna **** him off and have him steal my car What do I do???????
btw the shop is in Orlando called

if he has stolen parts laying around an anonymous tip to the cops would be a good first step oh yeah, ITR heads are b16 heads.

 

oh, and also it was stamped PR3-3 with a junkyard stamp on it, and it had B16 VALVESPRINGS, VALVES, AND RETAINERS

 

the guys an idiot. you got screwed on the springs, valves, retainers, etc but he's a moron for wasting his time taking the head.. the only really worthwhile parts are the cams and some of the springs.. you sure you still have ITR cams?

 

.....nah keith was gonna sell his old itr cams or keep them for spares.

the THIEF prolly just swapped heads cause he's lazy and can sell the itr head and cams.....

We need to double-check the stampings on stock itr heads and what b16's say... where's that link guys?

this head was stamped PR3-3 it's from a 99-00 SI, the cams I got were actually my ITR cams back....(Omar already had them thank god ) it also had a junkyard stamp on it that said MWD, I'm soooo pissed

ARe they on Goldenrod man? Go over there and tell em that they misrepresented, maybe bring a hidden tape recorder and see what his reaction is. Ask him for your money back, and he is a dick then say Ok well I'm calling the Orange Cty Sheriff and he'll deal with it.. THat should shake him up .

 

yea its the one on Goldenrod just north of 50.....fuggin a$$ but anyways, I didn't know he had connections to thieves until months after he fixed/screwed up my ITR

This is why everyone should be extremely careful when dealing with any shop. Just because they claim to be a respectible business and/or present you with "papers" authenticating the parts you are getting, doesnt always make it so...

 

They have a little rinky dink shop, I wouldn't trust them at all. You really should report him, I'm sure its not the first time..Prevent it from happening again to someone else. You could even take him to court and win!
