Dont see many slammed EM2s around..
Hey there guys. So like the title says, I haven't really seen any dumped EM2s around.. When I say dumped I mean a good amount of tire tucking. I know on my old EK I slammed it and really only had problems rubbing when taking very sharp corners. Is the reason why people aren't dropping their EM2s because of the way the car is made does not allow for more extreme height adjustments?
The 01-05 Civic is a strut front/odd wishbone setup in the rear.
When you 'slam' one of these cars, you get virtually zero suspension travel, plus a buttload of binding in the rear.
I don't care what kind of suspension setup you have--the problem is not the shocks, it's the suspension design and geometry. Those who say their ride is fine when they are slammed are either driving on glass or have no clue.

agreed, you can go down 2.25 - 2.5" with coilovers and be fine in regards to wear, etc. anything over that is really killer on you... I was down 3.25 for a while, and my tires lasted 5k miles lol.
this is on b&gs, about 2.75" in the front, 2.5 in the rear.

Bingo. At my current ride height, there's very little suspension travel, and I'm not slammed by any means. Around 2.75" of drop right now.

and by low speeds i mean like 10mph
i'll post a pic later to show my drop

My car was slammed all the way in the front, and it was horrible. There was no suspension travel AT ALL. It was just bounce, bounce, bounce everywhere. I don't have a pic that shows it well, but i was tucking tire on a 215/45/17.
